TONG AH

                Tong Ah has a long history, since 1939 during WWI and WWII period.

                 Tong Ah is an historic building in Keong Saik Road with its distinctive red, white facade and its unique shop front set up by the great grandfather of Mr. Tang. His family had owned this building for decades and they were known for their authentic Chinese style coffee. Mr Tang rented a space from his family and operated this coffee-shop. Recent years, another business owner had bought-over from the previous owner of Tong Ah glorious three storey conservation pre-war shop house. The long-history Chinese coffee-shop culture was removed from the nostalgia scenic of the iconic Tong Ah. Since then Tong Ah Eating House has shifted to New Address, 35 Keong Saik Road, which is just down the road. Even though reminiscing traditional Tong Ah, the authentic flavour of their food still goes on.

             Singaporean breakfast delights of local breakfast half boiled eggs, kaya toast with kopi or teh/coffee or tea, where their popularity and recognition begun, along with the Zi Char also known as Chinese Restaurant Dishes which include Seafood dishes. Their years of effort invested in this restaurant has won them numerous awards from media and publicity.
